The Air India jumbo aircraft flew in the wee hours of Saturday carrying 324 Indians from the Coronavirus center Wuhan in China. The 324 Indian majority of which are students landed safely in Delhi hours ago.
They are now going through medical observations and would be kept isolated for around 2 weeks. Medical examinations of the passengers are underway at the ITBP center in Chhawla. Around 50 beds have been kept reserved in Safdarjung hospital for those who would be found critical.

The number of Indians in the Hubei province of China which is the epicenter of the virus is around 1200. The Indian embassy is in contact with the Indians there. More such evacuation flights can be expected in the coming days as India is looking for well being of its citizens. Meanwhile, the first confirmed case of the Coronavirus in India was reported in Kerala.
