410 Civilian Bodies Found In Kyiv, Russia Accused By West

Ukraine Reclaims Kyiv From Russia

Prosecutor General Iryna Venediktova asserted on Sunday, that Ukraine has recovered 410 civilian bodies from the wider region of Kyiv reclaimed by them from Russia.

Venediktova speaks on national television, “410 bodies of dead civilians were evacuated out of the liberated territories of the Kyiv region. Forensic experts have already examined 140.”

Moscow is accused by Ukraine of “deliberate massacre” in the town named Bucha, which is 30 Km away from the capital. Also Mayor Anatoly Fedoruk of Bucha told AFP that on Saturday they buried 280 bodies.

After regaining the access when Ukrainian armies were patrolling the region, they found several other bodies lying on the streets.

What APF Journalists Saw?

APF saw 20 bodies lying on the single street of Bucha on Saturday, one body had his hand tied behind and they all were dressed as civilians.

APF witnessed a mass grave on Sunday shown by the local officials. They saw graves of 57 people buried there and some were still not buried yet.

Russia Denies

Russia disavowed killings of the civilians and said the “ accusations were another production of the Kyiv regime and the Western media.”

On Sunday the Russian Defence Ministry said, “During the time this settlement was under the control of Russian armed forces, not a single resident suffered from any violent actions.”

Bucha was occupied by Russian forces after 3 days of invasion which Vladimir Putin ordered on Feb 24. Russia is also accused by Ukraine of civilian killing in the nearby town of Irpin, which suffered mass destruction.

Since Russia’s special operation began almost 42 lakh people have left Ukraine. As per UN Refugee Agency approx 20000 people have been killed in the war. Meanwhile Russia is also not in a hurry to seek peace, chief negotiator Vladimir Medinsky of Russia said, to end the conflict it is still too early for both the leaders Zelensky and Vladimir Putin to meet.
