Japan, Singapore and South Korea are placed in the top three positions in the list of the world’s most powerful passports, as the Henley Passport Index reports suggest. The Japanese passport has been placed at the top for the last five years in this list, as it provides hassle-free entrance to 193 countries in the world. And just after the top scorer, Singapore and South Korea are placed at 2nd and 3rd place respectively for offering access to 192 countries to its passport holders.

What is the World Rank of the Indian Passport?

Indian Passport stands at 85th rank in the world as per the Henley Passport Index report, providing access to 60 countries easily. Passport has regained strength after the ban lifted on International Travel. “To contain the spread of covid-19, India suspended international flights after the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic in March 2020. The ban was finally lifted after a period of two years in March this year,” mentioned livemint.
