The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has closed 7 of its metro stations in lieu of security reasons as the protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) continued at the Jama Masjid.
As per inputs from ANI Chawri Bazar metro station on the yellow line, Lal Quila, Jama Masjid & Delhi Gate metro stations on violet line, Jaffrabad & Maujpur-Babarpur metro stations on pink line & Jamia Millia Islamia metro station on magenta line were closed.

A large gathering of protestors is voicing its concern against the CAA through peaceful protest in the Jama Majid area of Delhi.
