7th Pay Commission: 18-Months DA Arrears for the Govt. Employees Soon

Government employees and pensioners have not received their Dearness Allowance and Dearness Relief Arrears for 18 months between January 2020 and June 2021. The wait for the money has been so long now that people are searching for the same on Google every once in a while.

However, you must know that there has not been any date fixed yet so you are requested to wait for it patiently.

COVID is the main reason for the Government to pause the Dearness Allowance and Dearness Relief arrears of the employees and ex-employees respectively.

According to some posts, Level 3 employees are expected to get their Dearness Allowance amounting between Rs. 11,880 and Rs. 37,554 and Level 13 and above employees are expected to get between Rs. 1,44,200 and Rs. 2,18,200.

All this money shall be disbursed to the employees’s accounts at a rate of 31%. It is the rate for Dearness Allowance and Dearness Relief that was before January 2022.

After this date, the percentage of Dearness Allowance and Dearness Relief was raised to 34% which was further hiked up to 38% in September 2022.
