83 Movie: Pride, Emotions And Victory

Movie 83 celebrates history of time when India won World Cup in England for first time. The cinematography of the movie is quite candid. Official movie trailer transports you magically in Lord’s Cricket Ground in London. You can’t stop cheering for the team and feeling goose bumps as it progresses.  

Run time of movie is 160 minutes. A nostalgia written and directed with such compassion that it looks real.

Cast

Ranveer Singh plays the part of Kapil Dev. Full marks to the actor for body language and physical resemblances. Accent in dialogue delivery went bit over board but it is manageable.

Saqib Saleem plays the part of Mohinder Jimmy Amarnath, Tahir Raj Bhasin as Sunil Gavaskar, Ammy Virk as Balwinder Sandhu, Harrdy Sandhu as Madan Lal, Jiiva as Srikkanth and Jatin Sarna as Yashpal Sharma.

The shining effort of each actor is commendable and makes it impossible for audience to hold their tears.

Actor Pankaj Tripathi is playing character of PR Man Singh. His role adds humour and strong support to the film.

Deepika Padukone is playing character of Romi Devi, wife of Kapil Dev. The part is not big in the movie with very few dialogue deliveries.

Crew

Kabir Khan, director of the movie has done an excellent job. Minute details and nuances within story and characters will show his dedication towards the movie. The director has taken a risk because the facts has to be right. Pritam Chakraborty has given music to the film.

Release Date

83 is a movie that would give you joy with its highs and lows. A big screen experience is calling you. Movie will release on December 24. It is getting released in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Telugu. It will release both in 2D and 3D formats.
