  • Get NOC: Getting a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Regional Transport Office (RTO) in the state where your car is presently registered is the first step in moving it to a new state. Make sure that the chassis number is included in the NOC.
  • Transporting Your Car To A New State: After receiving the NOC, go to the nearest RTO office in the state you have moved to. Make sure you have with you all the paperwork required for this procedure.
