The brewing protest in the South American state of Chile entered its peak when a million protestors broke out to the streets of the capital city of Santiago yesterday evening.

People were seen waving national flags, dancing, banging pots with wooden spoons and bearing placards urging political and social change in the country. The protest was being carried in a peaceful manner.
