Aadhaar Card is a powerful ID, that allows us to get our identity verified, serves as residence proof, helps open bank accounts, availing loans, activate new sim cards and more. These all tasks are carried out after providing an Aadhaar Card, this means you have already sent your Aadhaar id to many people till now and you are vulnerable to getting defrauded. Issuing Sim Cards On Else’s Aadhaar Card

The Department of Telecommunication (DoT) increased the limit of issued Sim Cards on an individual’s Aadhaar Card to 18, in the year 2018. Out of which 9 were allowed for personal usage, and 9 were for M2M communications. And one year later in 2019, all the citizens were instructed to get their SIM Cards linked to Aadhaar Cards. Also, the Government launched a website for every citizen to view the total number of sim cards issued on their Aadhaars to avoid any type of fraud sim activation on their IDs.

How Can I View The Total Number of Sim Cards Issued On My Aadhaar?

Here are the simple steps:

  • First, visit this portal tafcop.dgtelecom.gov.in.
  • Enter your mobile number linked to your Aadhaar.
  • Click on “Request OTP”, and you will be directed to the OTP panel.
  • Now enter the OTP and click ‘Validate’.
  • On the next page, you will be able to see the list of mobile numbers or phone numbers issued against your Aadhaar Card.
