Atishi, a senior Aam Aadmi Party leader and MLA said that Delhi has completely out of Covaxin stock for the 18-44 age group, on Tuesday. She also added that due to which 125 Covid-19 vaccination centers likely to close in the city.
She wrote on Twitter, “Unfortunately, due to lack of availability of Covaxin for 18-44yr in Delhi, 125+ vaccination sites administering Covaxin till today will be closed from tomorrow onwards.”
Talking about the shortage of vaccines in Delhi, the AAP MLA added to her statement that the demand for vaccination in Delhi is undeniably increasing by the day. Therefore, how these peoples are safe from the virus if we don’t have enough vaccine doses?”
Moreover, she urged the Central Government to make a sufficient supply of vaccines for the citizens of Delhi. “With continuous running out of vaccine doses, the centers will tend to shut down.
However, the national region registered 12,481 new Covid-19 cases and 347 deaths in the last 24 hours. The positiveness rate has also dropped from 19 percent to 17.76 percent in Delhi.
