After over 100 infants died in Kota’s J K Lon Hospital the hospital administration has now taken up the construction and repair work. Around four more infants have died in the first two days of January in the hospital taking the toll to 104.
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Thursday spoke with Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan and informed him about the situation in the Kota hospital. The Congress government in the state has come under severe criticism for there negligence.

State Health Minister Raghu Sharma and officials from the Centre are due to visit the hospital, later in the day to make an assessment of the issue.
