In a bizarre incident, passengers travelling from flight AI 502, from Delhi to Bengaluru, found themselves stranded with nothing to do after the flight was delayed by 3 hours.
And why? Le Delhi traffic, claims the passenger.
The flight, which was scheduled to take flight at 1:30 PM, took flight at 4:30 only to reach Bengaluru at 9.00 PM. Passengers onboard complained that there was no initial news regarding the reasons for the delay.

A passenger said, “Initially, they announced a delay of 30 minutes citing maintenance issues. The departure time was then pushed to 3 pm, which is when passengers raised an issue with the supervisor who then reluctantly informed us it wasn’t due to a maintenance issue unavailability of the co-pilot. The Air India staff at the boarding gate said ‘the co-pilot is not available’.”
“It seems like the pilot is stuck in the traffic” wrote the other user taking a dig at Air India.
