Airtel’s 8 Crore Subscribers Would Get ‘This Benefit’

Bringing relief to its subscribers ‘Bharti Airtel’ made an important announcement on Monday. India’s 2nd largest telecom network has made an announcement that would benefit 8 crore subscribers. The telecom service provider has decided to extend the validity of its prepaid packs.

The validity of the existing packs would be extended until 17th April. This would be applicable for the low-income user base during the three-week nationwide lockdown. Further, Airtel would also provide these users unrestricted incoming services till 17 April and ₹10 talk time.

The idea is to extend help to all underprivileged households on the operator’s network. The measures will particularly benefit migrant workers and daily wage earners hit by the nationwide lockdown as per the company.

In this difficult hour of fighting off the threat of COVID-19, Airtel is committed to ensuring that all people remain connected without any disruptions,” said Bharti Airtel chief marketing officer Shashwat Sharma. The nationwide 21 days lockdown would come to an end on 14th April.
