Clothing brands and celebs are literally synonyms to each other with almost all celebs owning or promoting at least one.
After Kohli’s One8, Dhoni’s Seven and Hrithik Roshan’s HRX, Alia Bhatt has also joined the clan with her kids’ clothing brand called Ed-a-Mamma.
Venturing into sustainable fashion, Alia’s brand offer clothing options for kids aged 6-14. The clothes are made of biodegradable natural fibers. And each comes with a seed ball intact that “takes kids and parents back to nature.”
Alia took on Instagram to share a couple of pictures giving a peek into the merchandise on offer on Ed-a-Mamma. Bhatt wrote in her post, “It’s made from natural fabrics. With nature themes.” She further claimed that “each garment comes with a seedball that takes kids (and parents) back to nature.”
In an interview with Mint, Alia shared she “felt passionately about the environment and wanted to give back a strong message to conserve it through this brand.” Bhatt’s aim was to cut down on waste and that’s why they have “used organic cotton and non-plastic buttons for the range.”
She has, over the years, been investing in several beauty and fashion brands one among them being Nykaa.
Alia Bhatt on Travelling
Further in the interview when asked if money can buy happiness, she said, “Yeah it can’t buy happiness. But it can take you places.” She further added, “I don’t mean metaphorically, I mean physically. Travel is the best form of luxury. It makes you feel so small.” She also added, “The world is so much bigger. It opens up your perspective.” Check out the full interview here.
