All Primary Schools In Delhi ‘Shut’ Till 31st March With Immediate Effect Due To ‘Corona Scare’

As per the latest reports Delhi government has called for the closing of all primary schools in Delhi with immediate effect. Deputy Chief Minister and Delhi’s Education Minister Manish Sisodia ordered on Thursday.

The step has been taken amidst the Coronavirus scare that has been threatening the country. As per orders all Delhi government aided, private and schools run by civic bodies will remain shut till 31st March.

The education minister took to twitter to share the information. So, far India has reported 28 cases of coronavirus with 3 of them from Kerala being recovered. 16 out of the 28 are Italian tourists. Indian authorities have now stepped up preventive measures.

Visitors from Italy, Iran, South Korea, and Japan, except diplomats and officials from international bodies have been barred to visit India. The Union Health Ministry has also issued advisory asking people not to travel to China, Iran, South Korea, and Italy. It has also asked all citizens to avoid non-essential travel to other affected nations.
