Amarnath Yatra 2022: List Of Documents You Need To Visit Pilgrimage Site

The authorities are indulged in finalising all the preparations for Amarnath Yatra 2022. The police administration is setting up their perimeters and preparing to provide safety to the pilgrims. Well, a huge number of devotees travel to Sri Amarnath Cave Temple every year and keeping in mind the same Government of Jammu and Kashmir has issued a notification. In the notification, the Government has requested all the pilgrims to forward or submit their respective Aadhaar Numbers. Because as per the rules instructed in the notification the pilgrims are required to take approval in advance. So, all the travellers are required to carry their identity proof Aadhaar card to visit Amarnath Temple.

Amarnath Yatra 2022 After The Gap Of Two Years

After a gap of complete two years of course due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Amarnath Yatra is now commencing from June 30 to August 11 for 43 days. Even the Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor also visited the site to review the preparations for the yatra.

Yatra Begins With Puja

To state the beginning of the annually organised Amarnath Yatra, ‘Pratham Puja’ was organised in the temple on Tuesday. Puja was organised on June 14 on the occasion of Jyestha Purnima inside the cave temple. A glimpse of the puja was shared online and the internet witnessed the might of Lord Shiva after the wait of two years.

Important Points To Be Noted About The Amarnath Yatra

All the activities related to the yatra will be completed as planned on the forecasted time.
Legal authorities will take the assistance of technology to protect the pilgrims.
All the security measures will be ready on time and officials will review the arrangements.
Facilities including, “Car, house, medical essentials, electricity, water, health facilities, food etc.” will be there.

Terrorists are again planning something with the aim to disrupt the Amarnath yatra. It is being said as security forces have shot down two Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists in surrounding areas of Srinagar. A policeman also got injured during the operation. Police officials have described the encounter as a big success and are indulging in strict monitoring of the area.
