With the newest update of iOS 14.5, Apple has released a fix for the bug. The update generally starts to recalibrate the maximum capacity and battery peak performance capability.

  • Click on the Download and Install option.

If the recalibration of the battery health issue is not successful then the users will get a message. The message reads, “Recalibration of the battery health reporting system was not successful. An Apple Authorized Service Provider can replace the battery free of charge to restore full performance and capacity.”
