You might have heard tales of the faithfulness of Dogs towards their owner. However, rarely you might have heard of something reverse. Well, presenting an example of that was an Army Major.
Major Ankit Budhraja of Corps Signal laid his life saving his dog and wife from the fire. Major Ankit died while trying to save his dog during a fire incident in the Gulmarg area of Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir, informed the police.

A fire broke out in an officers’ hut Saturday night. Sensing threat to his wife and dog the officer jumped into the fire to save their lives. While saving his dog he fell prey to the gushing fire. The fire was brought under control later by firefighters with the assistance of local police.
