Witnessing a strong protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) the state of A Assam presented another such visual on Wednesday. The convoy of the state Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal was shown black flags.
The incident is reported from Chabua, in Assam’s Dibrugarh. As per reports, All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) workers show black flags to the convoy of Chief Minister presenting their dissent towards the act.

The protests took place shortly after Sonowal asserted that the Citizenship Act will not affect the indigenous population as rules have been formed to protect their interests.
