Australian Prime Minister Turns Water Boy For Australia PM XI Vs SL Game

Cricket pitches are not just limited to a competition between bat and ball but are more than that. Over the years, from pitch invaders to crowd singing at the top of their voice, we have witnessed a lot.

However, in a mother of all incidents, the crowd at Manuka Oval in Canberra went bonkers after the Prime minister of the country carried drinks into the ground during the warm-up match between Australia PM XI vs SL game.

The same happened during the 16th over of Srikanka’s inning when the visitors were ailing at a score of 110 for the loss of 6 wickets.

From afar, the Prime Minister, donning the team’s yellow cap, walks into the ground in white formals and a green coloured tie to offer the players drinks.

It was surely heart-warming to see the kind gesture. Harsha Bhogle also shared the picture, writing, “How cool!” “Nice…inspiring for the team morale,” wrote another user.
