PM Narendra Modi will return to Ayodhya after 29 years on August 5 and will lay the foundation stone of the Ram Temple in a three-hour-long ceremony. Party veteran LK Advani – who led the Ram temple movement in the 1990s by organising a rath yatra will attend the event via video conferencing.
Along with PM Modi, as many as 125 spiritual leaders will also attend the ceremony and witness the grand moment. 50 VIP guests, including Yogi Adityanath, will be present at the event.
Today’s festivities, held at a time recommended by astrologers, are vastly curtailed because of the coronavirus battle with over 50,000 daily infections.
