Disappointment comes in multiple shapes and sizes and so it did for a burglar from Madhya Pradesh’s Shajapur district.
The thief, who had forged a master plan to steal from Parvesh Soni’s house, had to return empty-handed as he couldn’t find anything precious to take away from the government engineer’s house.

However, the frustrated thief didn’t take a back from penning a note to the owner narrating his ordeal.
The thief reportedly wrote a note reading, “Bahut kanjoos hai rey tu, khidki todne ki mehnat bhi nahi mili, raat kharab ho gayi, which translates to – “You are a miser, I did not even get a reward for breaking in through the window, my night turned out to be bad.”

The thief’s note was found by Soni’s servant the next day, who lodged a complaint against the same. During the investigation, the police found things scattered all over the house and all the cupboards had been forcefully opened.
The note was scribbled on Soni’s diary which was kept on the coffee table. The police said an FIR has been lodged and the investigation is underway.
