Bareilly Finally Gets Its World Famous ‘Jhumka’ Priced At Rs 18 Lakhs

‘Jhumka’ and Bareilly have become synonymous ever since Asha Bhosle sang the chartbusterJhumka gira re, Bareilly ke baazar mei‘. But like Delhi has Meena Baazar’ to complement the line – Delhi seher ka saara Menna baazar le ke – Bareilly never had a Jhumka to complement the song.

However, that is going to change now because Bareilly has finally found its world-famous Jhumka. Installed at the Parsakhera area on National Highway 24, the Jhumka is 14-ft in height embellished with colourful stones and the city’s famous ‘zari’ embroidery.
