As per a report by The Indian Express, BCCI President Sourav Ganguly is mulling to propose a World XI vs Asia XI cricket match to mark the inaugural of the world’s biggest cricket ground. However, as of now, the chances of a match between World XI and Asia XI solely depends on the approval by the ICC. “There will be Asia XI vs World XI game but it will be subject to ICC’s approval,” BCCI president Sourav Ganguly was quoted as saying in the report.
