Apart from this, a study published in the Journal of Nutrition in 2018 states that including cashews in your diet increases the level of good HDL cholesterol.

A 2007 study published in the British Journal of Nutrition found that people consuming nuts more than four times a week had a 37% lower risk of heart disease. Moreover, the Journal of Nutrition in 2018 says that when people suffering from type 2 diabetes ate 30 grams of raw, unsalted cashews daily for 12 weeks, it helped them in reducing cardiovascular problems.
