Biggest Mistake Of Year: Zomato

As 2021 is coming to an end food delivery platform Zomato reflects on its biggest mistake of the year. Zomato announced a competition and winner was promised free dinner. If your comment has most likes then Zomato was giving you free dinner on Friday night.

Chayan Baheti, was the winner of competition. But what he ordered brought Zomato at shock.

What Was Order

Chayan ordered so many dishes when we won the competition that Zomato got shocked.

He ordered two plates of paneer tikka, two plates of dahi kebab, one veg Manchurian, five plates of paneer butter masala, two veggie supreme pizzas, four tandoori parathas, three butter naan, five tandoori roti, one jeera rice and twelve tawa parathas.

In screenshot shared by Zomato Chayan said, “Block mat kar dena Zomato Ji.”

After that he asked Zomato to add two dal tadkas and a chilli paneer to his order.

Why It Was Biggest Mistake Of The Year

Zomato approved Chayan’s order. But finance team at Zomato banned any such competitions in future.

Zomato shared the mail on Instagram.

The email reads, “Social Media Budget over for the year.”

The email is not real but its just too hilarious.

Zomato’s post on Instagram went viral. It received over 30,000 likes and over 300 comments.

What Was “Winning Comment’

Comment that won most likes by Chayan Baheti was “Na hamara friday night ka plan hai, na tumhara free dinner dene ka”.

On yesterday’s social media post of Zomato Chayan wrote, “Sorry guys. Sabko bula lia tha party dene ke liye. Ab birthday pe nahi dena padega.”
