Boeing 737 Crashed In China, 132 People Killed

Resulting in the killing of all the passengers and crew members, an aeroplane crash incident took place in China. Aircraft crashed into the mountainous region of China on Monday, 132 people were killed.

As per the media reports, China Eastern Airlines Boeing 737 was going to Guangzhou City from the Kunming City of China. But in mid-flight, the plane free-fall and crashed into the autonomous & mountainous region of Guangzhou city. The incident took place on Monday afternoon, no survivors have been found yet, but the search continued. 123 passengers and nine crew members were on board when the incident happened.

China Eastern Airlines Corporation Limited said that the cause of the plane crash is being investigated. The airline states on social media, “China Eastern Airlines has activated the emergency mechanism, dispatched a working group to the scene, and opened a special line for emergency assistance to family members.”

Immediate Investigation Orders From President

As the reason behind the aeroplane crash is unknown, President Xi Jinping orders an immediate investigation.

As per the news agency Xinhua, the President orders an all-out search and rescue immediately.

President said, “shocked to learn about the incident involving China Eastern Airlines flight MU5735…and ordered the immediate launch of emergency response, all-out search and rescue efforts and proper settlement of the aftermath.”

China Crash Region

Flight MU5735 departed from Kunming airport at 1:15 PM and was supposed to reach Guangzhou city at 3:07 PM. But the aircraft goes off radar and then the panic spreads among authorities. Local villagers reported the crashing incident to the local officials.

The crash site was in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, firefighters were the first to reach the spot. Then later hundreds of officials were searching for the survivors after reaching the site.

As per Global Times, “The aircraft belonged to the Yunnan subsidiary of China Eastern Airlines and had been in operation for just over six and a half years. The aircraft was delivered in June of 2015.”
