Boy Attempts To Sneak Past Border To Enter ‘Pakistan’ To Meet His Online Girlfriend, Uses Google Maps

Love knows no borders no control and no limits. While you and I have only heard this common saying one boy tried to prove it right in reality. This 20 years old engineering student with some strong feelings of love for his online girlfriend was ready to go to Pakistan by sneaking past the border.

The boy named Zishan Mohammad Siddiqui, a resident of Khwajangar in Maharashtra’s Osmanabad town was on his way to meet his Karachi-based girlfriend. However, the Border Security Force (BSF) was good enough to catch him and stop him in Gujarat’s Rann of Kutch region that shares borders with Pakistan. He was caught on Thursday night and was handed to the local police.

As per police, the boy was in touch with a Pakistani girl through social media for the last few months and they were in love with each other. He left his home in Osmanabad on a motorcycle on July 11 to meet the girl as most of the means of transportation are closed due to lockdown. His bike was found abandoned near Dholavira village in the Rann of Kutch. After finding the bike the police issued an alert in the area.

Zishan started walking on foot towards the border after abandoning his motorcycle that got stuck in the sand. His family lodged a missing complaint as he disappeared. He was using Google Maps for navigation and was apprehended about 1.5 km short of Indo-Pak international border said, officials. He was unconscious for about 2 hours. The boy would now be handed to a team of Osmanabad police who would take him back.
