Amidst raging protests across the country over an array of issues, one thing that binds us is nationalism and seems like the same is also at risk.
As per a trend on Twitter, 25 workers of a Pantaloons store in West Bengal were suspended for singing the National Anthem.
In a video shared by a user on Twitter, one can hear a staff member claiming that out of 150 Pantaloons staff, 25 of them have been suspended for signing the National Anthem.
The video on Twitter was shared by Y. Satya Kumar who is BJP’s National Secretary and President of Sanskriti Service Organisation.
The suspended members are staging a protest against the inappropriate reason behind their suspension.
Moreover, as the news spread out, people have also started calling out the West Bengal goverement for entertaining anti-national activities in the country.

So singing National Anthem is immoral? What is happening under TMC's rule. What makes me more disheartened is that a lot of people are trying to picture it as marwari /hindi speaking vs bengali. Please Indians especially Hindus stay untied. #BoycottPantaloons https://t.co/RNQ04Px3in— Bhawana Kochar (@BhawanaKochar) January 29, 2020
