Burnt Body Of A Wine Shop Employee Found In A Freezer In Alwar

In a gut-wrenching incident, a burnt body of a 23-year-old man was found in the deep freezer of a wine shop in Kumpur village of Alwar district on Sunday.

The victim was later identified and the family of the victim has alleged that he was set on fire by the employers. However, the police in its investigation said that they don’t see a foul play of the owner in the whole scenario.

As per the reports, the victim named Kamal Kishore used to work at the wine shop owned by Rakesh Yadav and Subhash Chand. The family, in the FIR, has alleged that he had not been paid by the owners for the last five months.

The FIR goes on to add that one of the owners had come to the Kishore’s home on Saturday and took the latter with him and both never returned.

Then around noon, locals discovered that a container of the wine shop located behind the shop had caught fire. The locals then informed the police and the fire was put out. Until then, Kishor’s badly burnt body was found inside a deep freezer inside the container. The thing to note here is that there was no power connection in the container and the freezer was cooled by staking ice.

“The deep freezer inside the container was for storing liquor. One of the owners has been down with dengue for the last few days and is undergoing treatment. Preliminary probe doesn’t hint at murder. However, we are yet to reach any conclusion. We are probing how the fire took place,” said Ram Moorty Joshi, superintendent of police, Bhiwadi.
