After days of hunting for evidence in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, the CBI, as per the reports, has found no evidence hinting that Sushant was murdered.
As per reports on India Today, three officers who have been a part of the investigation have informed India today that their team has not found any evidence so far to claim that Sushant was murdered on June 14, 2020.
This comes after days of hunting for evidence and interrogating each and every possible perosn who could be associated with the death of Sushant. These include Rhea, her brother and even her family. A drug angle in the case is also being interrogated.
Moreover, now, the CBI team will be examining the suicide angle and reportedly filing if an abetment to suicide case can be made.
The CBI has said that neither the statements of the key suspects nor the forensic reports hint at homicide. Moreover, despite the fact that the investigating angle would be shifted to a suicide angle, the probe of murder will now be officially closed.
After CBI took charge from Mumbai Police, they reconstructed the death scene at Sushant’s Bandra home to find out some important evidence. Also, they have been calling Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik for interrogations over the past few days. On Monday, her parents were also interrogated.
