CBSE Announced Class 10 & 12 Optional Exams And Compartment Date-sheets

On Monday, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released a notification in respect of class 10th and 12th optional exams and compartment date-sheets. The compartment and optional examinations for Classes 10 and 12 candidates are to begin from August 25.

Here are the lists of the eligible candidates who can appear for the optional or compartment examination.

Not satisfied with the assessment

Candidates whose results are declared and considered as passed based on the tabulation policy, but are not satisfied with the assessment.

Compartment

Students who failed to meet the qualifying criteria in one and/or two subjects. They generally fall in the compartment category and can appear for this exam.

Non-Computable Cases

Candidates whose results could not be prepared based on tabulation policy in 2021 i.e. regular candidates of the improvement category.

6th Subject Cases

Candidates appeared as regular candidates in 6 subjects and declared as pass, but they could not clear any one subject from the five main subjects.
