CBSE Releases New Date Sheet For Class 10th And 12th Board Exams

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday released the datasheet for remaining of the board exams. The Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriya tweeted the news with the date sheet. The exams would begin from 1st of July. As per earlier announcements class, 10th board exams would only be conducted for students of North East Delhi.

The class 10 exams will be staggered on four dates, starting July 1. The first paper will be of Social Sciences, while the next day students will be required to appear for Science exam”, said Sanyam Bhardwaj the Controller of Examination. The class 10th schedule would be:

  • Social Science On July 1st
  • Science Theory and Science Without Practical on July 2nd
  • On July 10, exams will be conducted for both courses of Hindi
  • July 15 for both courses of English

For class 12th students more exams are to be conducted in North East Delhi then for the rest of India. The exams for class 12th be conducted as per the following schedule:

  • Home Science exam on July 1 (All India)
  • Exam for both courses of Hindi on July 2 (All India)
  • Physics 3rd July (North East Delhi)
  • Accountancy 4th July (North East Delhi)
  • Chemistry 6th July (North East Delhi)
  • Information Practice & Computer Science both old and new and Information Technology on 7th July (All India)
  • Exam for all the three courses of English 8th July (North East Delhi)
  • Business Studies 9th July (All India)
  • Biotechnology 10th July (All India)
  • Geography 11th July (All India)
  • Sociology 13th July (All India)
  • Political Science 14th July (North East Delhi)
  • Mathematics, Economics, History, Biology 15th July (North East Delhi)

Safety measures would be in place for the students against the disease during the exams. The ministry said that students would have to carry their own sanitizers to the exam hall in a transparent bottle. They would also be required to cover their face and nose, mouth with masks or cloth.
