A day ago, the government announced the CBSE class 10th board exam cancellation and postpone of class 12th board exams for the year 2021. The decision made due to the wake of the Covid-19 cases. After the announcement, the social media platforms have flooded with jokes and ‘memes’.
Students and their parents had urged to cancel or postpone the CBSE board exams 2021 due to a rapid spike in the increase of coronavirus cases within the country. The key issues were that public setting would increase the chances of spreading the virus speedier. Not only this, even scholars were anxious about the scenario of them falling sick during exams.

Therefore, the government informed that the CBSE class 10 exams are cancelled whereas class 12th board exams are postponed in a press release. In the statement, the government mentioned that “The Board Exams for Class XII to be held from May 4 to June 14, 2021, are hereby postponed…The Board Exams for Class X to be held from 4 May to June 14, 2021, are hereby cancelled.”
