It’s 2020 and thus you first need to accept the fact that anything can happen this year and with anything we mean that even this annoying song can become the most-watched video on YoutTube.
Dethroning Despacito, this ‘popular’ children song named ‘Baby Shark’ is now the most-watched video on YouTube.
Baby Shark song has been watched over a whopping 7.05 billion times thus taking over Despacito, which has been played for 7.03 billion times at the time of writing this story. Meanwhile, one thing to note here is the fact that neither I understand Despacito, nor I like babies or sharks.
I’m only living in this world to see Tunka Tunka Tun become the most-watched song on YouTube someday.
Anyway, just in case you thought 7.04 billion views isn’t a lot, BBC added it up to reveal that if played back-to-back, it would last for 30,187 years. Yes, you will need the capabilities of Munna bhaiya and 56-inch ka seena combined to bear this song for that many years.
For facts, the song has been scripted by South Korean company Pinkfong and it, over time, has been able to make a whopping $5.2 million just from YouTube streams. The song was uploaded on YouTube back in 2015.
Other videos on the list of most-watched videos include Ed Sheeran’s ‘Shape of You’ on the third position with 5.05 billion views, followed by See You Again by Charlie Puth and Wiz Khalifa at 4.79 billion views.
Now, just in case I unintentionally ruined your day by introducing you with the unbearable song, then pardon me and here, enjoy Despacito all over again.
Despacito ahbajbdjhbdjk… Despacito ndiefnwuejdfe….. conmigo.. Despacito!!
