Though Chinese authorities have been making desperate efforts the deadly Coronavirus is not containing its death rate. The latest data reports that close to 425 people have died due to the virus in the country. The number of reported cases stands at over 20,000 mark.
This data comes after the country opened a new hospital built in 10 days to treat the patient. While most of the countries in the world have stopped issuing visas to Chinese nationals the virus is still spreading from those who traveled earlier.
Recently the first death outside China was reported in the Philippines. Countries like Thailand have reported 19 confirmed cases. India too has reported 3 confirmed cases so far. U.S. has also reported 11 cases along with cases being reported in other North American and European countries.
Going this way the virus is on cards to become a ‘global panic’ creating havoc. So far the major effect is in the Chinese mainland but it is spreading thick and fast. Though WHO declared it an emergency it is on path to become a ‘Pandemic’.
Countries across the globe are continuing evacuations of their citizens who have recently traveled or are staying in the country. India so far evacuated over 600 nationals with 7 from Maldives.
