In a unique way of showing support, the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and National Register of Citizen (NRC) a soon to be married couple from Uttar Pradesh (U.P.) printed ‘We support CAA and NRC’ on their wedding cards.
The couple Mohit Mishra and Sonam Pathak from UP’s Sambhal is getting hitched on February 3. They have put a Hindi line in bold letters on their wedding card which reflects their support to the government.

Ever since the government tabled the act (bill at that time) in parliament the country is boiling in protest against it. The CAA has come under hammer for its anti-secular and anti-muslim outlook.
