Cow dung is actually useful for several purposes and we get that. But this obsession of the Indian government to present it as a solution to each and everything is simply something we don’t get.

Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog, a government body aimed to organize animal husbandry on modern and scientific lines, got too modern recently when it introduced cow dung Chips that it claims can reduce harmful radiation around you.

RKA chief Vallabhbhai Kathiria was speaking at the nationwide campaign named Kamdhenu Deppawali Abhiyan aimed at promoting cow dung products in the country. Besides the chip, the Chief also introduces diyas and several other cow dung products.

The chip he introduced has been named ‘Gausatva Kavach’ and is manufactured by Rajkot-based Shrijee Gaushala.

Cow dung will protect everyone, it is anti-radiation… It is scientifically proven…This is a radiation chip that can be used in mobile phones to reduce radiation. It will be safeguarded against diseases,” Kathiria said.

“If it [cow dung chip] is brought to one’s home, the whole house will become eco-friendly, it will become radiation free. All this has been proved by science,” Kathiria added.

Kathiria, while introducing the chip added that one can keep the chip in their mobile and its anti-radiation elements will decrease the harmful radiations around oneself.

However, people don’t seem to be ‘buying’ what Kathiria has to say.
