As the assembly election in Delhi is inching closer, an indefinite battle among the three contenders – Aam Aadmi Party, Bhartiya Janta Party and Congress – is on. And on Tuesday, the battle got a tad bit intense.
AAP on Tuesday shared a funny Baazigar meme on Twitter featuring Shah Rukh Khan (as AAP), Kajol (as Delhi) and Manoj Tiwari (as Siddharth Ray) and captioned it, “All the best Sir @ManojTiwariMP”. The message that AAP wanted to convey is that like Kajol belongs to Shahrukh in Baazigar, likewise, Delhi belongs to AAP.

Retweeting the same image BJP wrote “Whoever is handling this account is writing Arvind Kejriwal’s political obituary. SRK was a manipulative villain in the movie who was plotting against Kajol & her family. He killed Kajol’s sister. And, in the end, he got killed for his sins. The same fate awaits Kejriwal in Delhi!”
At last, the third contender, Congress, joined the conversation, which added Ajay Devgan in the frame (specifying Ajay and Kajol’s real-life relation of husband and wife) and changed the title to “कांग्रेस वाले दुल्हनिया ले जाएंगे। आप और बीजेपी देखते रह जाएंगे। @AamAadmiParty @BJP4India.”
The users also joined the conversation with a set of their own facts.

A user replying to BJP wrote “BTW, Shahrukh was an antagonist in the film who was avenging his mother, father and sister’s death and reclaiming what was truly belonged to him. And Kajol sided with him in the end. Just like Delhi will be with Kejriwal knowing that who the true villain is.”
Another said, “He was still the central character of the movie, everyone else was just sideshows. For e.g. whats the name of this Manoj Tiwari- actor and the character he played? Don’t google, no one remembers them, like Delhi BJP leaders…”
