Delhi-Katra Vande Bharat Express Flags Off On Thursday

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday flagged off the Delhi-Katra Vande Bharat Express (22439) quoting it as a “big gift” for Jammu and Kashmir post Article 370 subrogation. The Vande Bharat Express aka Train 18 will begin its journey from 6 am from New Delhi – all days a week except on Tuesday – to reach Katra at 2 PM.

The train on its journey will halt at Ambala Cantt, Ludhiana and Jammu Tawi. For a return voyage from Katra to New Delhi, you can board the Vande Bharat Express ( 22440) from the Katra Railway Station at 3 pm to reach New Delhi Railway by 11 pm.

Dehli-Katra Vande Bharat Express is India’s second train of its kind.
