Employee Provident Fund: Know How To Change Bank Account Number For PF Withdrawal

Provident Fund withdrawal can be required for different purposes, such as property purchase, medical purposes, etc. To withdraw the PF amount, Employee Provident Fund Organisation has made certain rules for EPF subscribers. With the help of a Universal Account Number, one can easily withdraw his/her PF/EPF money online. However, few PF account holders want credit in a bank account, which is not linked with EPFO. In this case, the PF subscribers may rectify or update their bank details linked with the EPFO and make sure smooth and timely credit.

Now, the question is “how to change your bank account number for PF withdrawal?” The PF account holder simply needs to login in at the EPFO member portal.

Steps to Change Bank Account Number for PF Withdrawal

Step 1: Log in at the EPFO member portal using login ID and password 

Step 2: Click at ‘Mange’ option

Step 3: Hit on the ‘KYC’ option

Step 4: Choose ‘Documents’ and enter ‘Bank’

Step 5: Now, feed bank account number and its IFSC code

Step 6: Hit on the ‘Save’ option 

Step 7: After saving the new bank details, it will show ‘KYC pending for approval’

Step 8: Submit all the required documents. 

Step 9: Once the employer verifies submitted documents, the ‘KYC pending for approval’ will status will change into ‘Digitally Approved KYC.’

Step 10: After this, you will get a text message from the EPFO for digital approval of your KYC.
