What is EPFiGMS?

EPF I Grievance Management System or EPFiGMS is a personalised portal created and managed by EPFO for employees to redress their complaints related to this EPF scheme.

“These complaints can be registered by all the official members of the EPF scheme, pensioners and employers. After the complaint has been registered, the subscriber is given a unique registration number which is used to check the status of the complaint.”

“By using the EPFiGMS system, the subscribers can lodge complaints related to the following categories: – Withdrawal of PF – Transfer of PF – Settlement of pension – Issue of EPF balance – Payment of Insurance benefit.”

What are the Functions of EPFiGMS?

  • The major role of EPFiGMS is to provide a common platform for all EPF members to register their complaints related to this scheme.
  • After the complaints have been recorded the system categorises them as per priority level. And the main focus is shifted towards the area which has the most complaints.
  • Then these complaints are forwarded to their respective departments to solve.
  • EPFiGMS also offers the level of transparency between its subscribers and organisation needed to sustain trust.
