With both the teams unbeaten in the last 25 days, the result of the match could not be decided in the first 90 minutes. Italy and Spain headed to extra time in the European Championship semifinals with the scores even at 1-1.

The soccer powerhouses, who have claimed four European titles and five World Cup crowns between them set the Wembley Stadium in London in the Euro 2020 on fire on Tuesday.
Italy will meet the winner of 2nd semi-final between England and Denmark in the summit clash at the same venue on Sunday night.
