Exit Polls 2022 Predict BJP Win In 4 States; Punjab Voted For AAP

Exit polls are a sweet treat that are rarely correct but it excites everyone in the country. While they might not be accurate but they sure do display a trend that shows who is going to win the elections. Aam Admi Party will sweep BJP and Congress in Punjab and BJP will secure a huge return in UP.

In UP, Yogi Adityanath led BJP might secure another win with huge majority as exit polls very strongly point it out. By looking at the pattern followed by multiple exit polls one can infer that BJP might win over 241 seats out of 403 seats in the state. To secure a majority a political party needs to secure at least 202 seats. Samajwadi Party will be the second highest performer with around 142 seats.

Another interesting win will be seen by Aam Admi Party in Punjab where aggregate of exit polls have predicted that AAP will win 63 seats out of 117 seats and the minimum number for majority is 59. It will be a first time for AAP where it will have control on a full state. AAP has been in power in Delhi since 2015 which is partly controlled by Central Government.

Currently, Punjab is ruled by Congress and it might finish at the second position with just 28 seats. Experts believe that Congress came to such a position because of long fight within the party for power between veteran Amarinder Singh, Navjot Singh Siddhu and Charanjit Singh Channi. BJP joined hands with Amarinder Singh and Akali Dal and will have 19 seats.

The fight in Uttarakhand will be interesting where currently BJP stands in power. The exit polls have predicted that the fight will be neck to neck between BJP and Congress while as AAP might win just 1 seat in the state. BJP might win over 35 seats and Congress might get 32 seats in the state, only final results will tell who will get victory.

The fight is similar in Goa between BJP and Congress where both the parties are tipped to get 16 seats among 40 seats. For a winning majority, they will have to secure a minimum of 21 seats. Interestingly Mamata Banerjee’s TMC is predicted to win over 3 seats which could turn the tale in Goa. While as in Manipur BJP might be the biggest party with a victory over 30 seats; Congress might secure 13 seats in the state.
