Facebook’s New Product Experimentation (NPE) team, in its next experiment with apps, has now launched a Pinterest-like app called Hobbi. The app allows a user to document their personal interests and hobbies, like cooking, art, craft, baking, etc. in the form of pictures and videos.

Using Hobbi, you can organize your content into collections (just like there are boards in Pinterest) so you can check your progress from time to time. Moreover, the different thing about Hobbi is that it doesn’t get a social networking component in the app.

This means, all the content you save on Hobbi can not be shared on other social media apps. The app has been notably developed by a its New Product Experimentation team. The team is dedicated to make apps outside of the company’s core apps.

Till now, it has developed a meme-making app called Whale, a music DJ App called Aux and social networking app called Bump. The three didn’t crate a buzz in the market mainly due to less proportion or a retarded idea.
