Flipkart has been serving its customers for as long as a decade and a half and people have put their trust in them. When the service quality drops pushing the consumers down the priority list, hashtags like #FlipkartDoglaHai are bound to trend on every platform let alone Twitter.
1. Kicked Regular Users Off Flipkart Big Dussehra Sale
The hashtag spread like a fire when the Flipkart Big Dussehra Sale was made exclusive for the Flipkart Plus members only.
2. Order Cancellation Due to Price Hike
The picture turned ugly when multiple users were complaining about their cancelled orders. The reason for this cancellation is hiked prices of the products from the seller’s end. It sounds unfair that the prices changed after the user placed the order.
3. Delay in Delivery
It kept getting ugly with time as other troubled users surfaced on Twitter where there has been a delay in their order delivery. A user complains that his order is in Pune for the last 4 days and his delivery date has been shifted ahead without any valid reason.
During the Flipkart Big Billion Days Sale 2022, multiple users complained about their cancelled Apple iPhone 13 orders. They say they were excited about their orders which were flushed down the toilet upon cancellation of their order without an explanation.
What did Flipkart Do About the Hashtag Situation?
To put off the fire, Flipkart issued a statement agreeing on the order cancellation by sellers ‘due to anomalies’. The cancellation fraction was 3 per cent of all orders and all of them were from the seller’s side.
To further cool the case off, Flipkart stated that “As a customer-focused e-commerce marketplace, we encourage sellers to prioritise the customers` orders and strive to keep them delighted with their service”.
