The DSGMC has arranged as many as 12 ambulances and stationed them at various locations across Delhi for anyone who needs help.
“We will provide more ambulance in the coming days. The 12 ambulances available now are equipped with all the facilities. It will remain available till we win the battle against COVID-19. People in need can contact gurudwaras nearby. We have provided information on our social media handles. Drivers and ward boys will wear PPEs. Ambulances will be available 24×7 and it is free of cost,” DSGMC president told media
The same is one of the many gestures that the Sikh community has come up with over months to help Delhi fight the pandemic. There are numerous Gurdwara running day and night across Delhi and also in other states to provide langar to ensure no one goes to bed hungry.
Many Gurdwaras have also been turned into quarantine centres to give shelter to the needy people.
The kind gesture was yet again applauded by the people.
