Gautam Adani is Asia’s second richest person and is growing enormously year after year. Last year he added 49 billion dollars in his wealth portfolio leaving behind global billionaires like Bernard Arnault, Elon Musk according to 2022 M3M Hurun Global Rich List.
Mukesh Ambani who is the mastermind behind Reliance Industries remains to be the richest Indian and Asian and has an enormous wealth of 103 billion dollars which increases by 24% year after year. Gautam Adani runs port to energy conglomerate Adani Group and has a total of 81 billion dollars. Adani’s wealth is increasing by 153% a year which is a huge number.
If you will see the data of last 10 years then the wealth of Mukesh Ambani has increased at a rate of 400%. On the contrary, the wealth of Gautam Adani has increased at a rate of 1830%. Shiv Nadar of HCL Technologies is the third richest man with a total wealth of 28 billion dollars, Cyrus Poonawalla of Serum Institute stands at 26 billion dollars and Laxmi Mittal at 25 billion dollars.

M3M Hurun Global Rich List said, “Gautam Adani, 59, is the biggest gainer in M3M Hurun Global List 2022 and added 49 billion dollars to his wealth last year. His net wealth addition is more than top three global billionaires such as Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos and Bernard Arnault.”
Adani saw a major jump when he listed his renewable energy company Adani Green where his wealth jumped by 5 times to 81 billion dollars from 17 billion in 2020.
Anas Rahman Junaid, MD and Chief Researcher has said, “Over the last 10 years, Indian billionaires added circa 700 billion dollars to their cumulative wealth, this is equivalent to GDP of Switzerland and twice the GDP of UAE. India has 215 billionaires, China has 1133 and America has 716 billionaires.”
