After months in development, Reliance Jio has officially released its much-awaited JioFiber service in India, targeted to deliver enhanced broadband experience to surf, stream, game and work. With the launch of its fiber-to-the-home service, Jio has also released several plans categorized into tiers starting from Rs. 699/month going up to Rs. 8,499/ month.
JioFiber Data Plans
For starters, Jio has launched the Bronze Plan at Rs. 699/month and Silver plan at Rs. 849/month. Both the plans will offer an internet speed of 100Mbps.
The mid-level plans, which have been named Gold and Diamond Plans, have been priced at Rs.1,299/month and Rs. 2,499/month, respectively. The users will enjoy an internet speed of 250Mbps and 500Mbps if subscribed to the same.
Platinum and Titanium packs are the high-end plans priced at 3,999/month and Rs. 8,499/month. The plans will offer 1Gbps data speed.
It is necessary to note that although these plans offer unlimited data access, a FUP cap has been set on all the plans. Notably, with the Bronze plan, you get high sped internet access till 100GB which increases upto 250GB depending upon the plan. The data limit for the top-end Titanium plan is set at 5,000GB.
Free TV, Speakers, Subscriptions And Much More
Jio plans to push the broadband service to over 1,600 towns across the city. At the initial stage, JioFiber plans will offer free domestic voice calls, video calling and Norton antivirus for upto 5 devices. And additional benefits including Jio First-Day First-Show, Jio VR platform for the top-tier Platinum and Titanium plans.
Jio has also announced a Welcome Offer for people who wish to avail Jio’s JioForever annual plans. If a subscriber, a consumer will get Rs. 5,000-worth Jio Home Gateway device, Jio 4K set-top box worth Rs. 6,400 for free besides three-month free subscriptions for JioSaavn, JioCinema, and other OTT apps.
Those who subscribe for the JioForever Silver annual plan will get Thump 2 Bluetooth speakers while those who subscribe for the JioForever Gold annual plan will get a free Muse 2 Bluetooth speaker or a free 24-inch HD TV if they opt for a two-year plan. The Diamond, Platinum, and Titanium annual plan subscribers will get a free HD TV.
