As the senior men sides of India and Pakistan are hardly seen face to face on the cricket field the month of February bought us 2 clashes. We first saw our U-19 lads thrashing the Pakistan boys in the ICC U-19 Semifinal on 4th February.
Now, its time for the seniors to step up. Though nothing big would be at stake our Indian Women cricket team would take on Pakistan this Sunday. The match would be a warm-up game to the upcoming ICC T20 Women’s world cup in Australia.
India who is already in Australia for Tri-series lost to Australia in the final. With a high octane warm-up clash India looks set to leave behind that defeat and march towards the trophy. The main event would begin from 21st February. India would play the inaugural match against the hosts Australia.
